This Privacy Policy explains how BlitzGo ("BlitzGo", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores, protects and shares information when you use the BlitzGo mobile application, website and related services.

BlitzGo is intended to operate in Duhok, Zakho, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and other locations throughout Iraq as the service expands.

We take privacy seriously and aim to collect and use personal information only for legitimate business, service, safety, security and legal purposes.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use BlitzGo, we may collect the following categories of information.

Account Information

This may include:

  • Full name;

  • Telephone number;

  • Email address;

  • Password or authentication information;

  • Account preferences;

  • Profile information.

Order and Transaction Information

This may include:

  • Orders;

  • Products or services requested;

  • Delivery details;

  • Order history;

  • Payment status;

  • Refund information;

  • Receipts;

  • Transaction references.

We generally do not need to store your complete payment-card details when payment is processed by an independent payment provider. Payment providers may process payment information under their own privacy policies.

Location Information

Depending on the features you use and the permissions you provide, BlitzGo may collect location information from your device.

This may be used to:

  • Match you with a driver or courier;

  • Determine pickup and delivery locations;

  • Provide navigation-related functionality;

  • Calculate distance and applicable charges;

  • Track an active delivery or service;

  • Prevent fraud and abuse;

  • Improve operational efficiency;

  • Provide customer support.

You can manage location permissions through your device settings. Some BlitzGo services may not function correctly if required location permissions are disabled.

Device and Technical Information

We may collect information such as:

  • IP address;

  • Device type;

  • Operating-system information;

  • Application version;

  • Browser information;

  • Language settings;

  • Approximate location derived from technical information;

  • Crash reports;

  • Diagnostic information;

  • Security and fraud-prevention information.

Communications

If you contact BlitzGo, we may retain information contained in your communication, including customer-support conversations and relevant attachments.

Where permitted and appropriately disclosed, communications between users and drivers/couriers may be processed or retained for service, safety, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution purposes.

Driver and Courier Information

If you apply to provide services through BlitzGo, we may collect additional information reasonably required for onboarding, identity verification, eligibility, safety, payment, compliance and administration.

This may include identification information, contact information, vehicle information, license information, payment information and other documentation required for the relevant service.

We will only request information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Create and manage accounts;

  • Provide BlitzGo services;

  • Process orders;

  • Match customers with merchants, drivers or couriers;

  • Process payments;

  • Calculate delivery or service charges;

  • Provide customer support;

  • Communicate about orders;

  • Prevent fraud and abuse;

  • Protect users and the Platform;

  • Investigate complaints;

  • Resolve disputes;

  • Improve BlitzGo;

  • Analyze service performance;

  • Maintain technical security;

  • Detect unauthorized access;

  • Meet legal or regulatory obligations;

  • Respond to lawful requests from competent authorities;

  • Enforce our Terms & Conditions;

  • Send promotional communications where legally permitted and, where required, with your consent.

3. Location Data

Location information is particularly important for delivery and location-based services.

Where you enable location access, BlitzGo may process your location while using features that require it.

For example, location information may be used to identify the nearest available driver or courier, provide delivery tracking, calculate distance, or assist with customer support.

BlitzGo will not intentionally use precise location information for unrelated purposes merely because the information is technically available.

4. Legal and Legitimate Purposes

BlitzGo may process information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide a service requested by you;

  • Perform or administer a transaction;

  • Protect the security of BlitzGo and its users;

  • Prevent fraud;

  • Investigate misuse;

  • Resolve disputes;

  • Comply with applicable legal obligations;

  • Respond to lawful requests;

  • Protect the rights, property and safety of BlitzGo and others;

  • Operate and improve the Platform.

Where consent is required by applicable law, BlitzGo will seek appropriate consent.

5. Sharing Information

BlitzGo may share relevant information with third parties where reasonably necessary to operate the Service.

These parties may include:

Merchants

Information necessary to prepare and fulfil your order may be provided to the relevant merchant.

Drivers and Couriers

Information necessary to complete a delivery or service may be provided to the relevant driver or courier, such as your name, pickup/delivery information and relevant contact or location information.

Payment Providers

Payment information may be processed by banks, payment processors, wallets and other payment providers.

Technology Providers

We may use third-party providers for services such as:

  • Cloud hosting;

  • Database infrastructure;

  • Analytics;

  • Customer support;

  • Authentication;

  • Notifications;

  • Maps and location services;

  • Security;

  • Fraud prevention;

  • Software monitoring.

Such providers may only receive information reasonably necessary for their services.

Professional Advisers

We may disclose information to lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers and other professional advisers where reasonably necessary.

Government and Law Enforcement Authorities

BlitzGo may disclose information where required or permitted by applicable law, court order, lawful governmental request, investigation, or to protect the safety, rights or property of BlitzGo, users or others.

6. We Do Not Sell Personal Information

BlitzGo does not intend to sell customers' personal information as a standalone commercial product.

We may share information with service providers and business partners where reasonably necessary to operate BlitzGo, provide services, process payments, improve security or perform other legitimate functions described in this Privacy Policy.

7. Marketing

BlitzGo may send promotional messages where permitted by applicable law.

Depending on the communication method, you may be able to unsubscribe or change your marketing preferences.

You may continue to receive essential service communications, such as order confirmations, delivery updates, security alerts and important account notices.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

BlitzGo's website and services may use cookies, SDKs, analytics technologies and similar tools.

These technologies may help us:

  • Keep users signed in;

  • Remember preferences;

  • Understand how the Platform is used;

  • Diagnose technical problems;

  • Improve performance;

  • Detect fraud and security threats;

  • Measure marketing performance where applicable.

You may be able to control certain cookies through your browser or device settings.

Disabling certain technologies may affect Platform functionality.

9. Data Security

BlitzGo uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

Depending on the information and circumstances, security measures may include:

  • Encryption in transit;

  • Access controls;

  • Authentication;

  • Logging and monitoring;

  • Secure hosting practices;

  • Employee or contractor access restrictions;

  • Backup and recovery measures;

  • Security testing and incident response.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

If a security incident occurs, BlitzGo will take reasonable steps to investigate, contain and address the incident and make notifications where required by applicable law.

10. Data Retention

BlitzGo retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to:

  • Provide the Service;

  • Maintain business and transaction records;

  • Resolve complaints;

  • Prevent fraud;

  • Protect security;

  • Enforce agreements;

  • Meet accounting, tax, legal or regulatory requirements.

Different categories of information may therefore be retained for different periods.

When information is no longer reasonably required, BlitzGo may delete it, anonymize it or securely dispose of it, subject to legal or operational requirements.

11. Children's Privacy

BlitzGo is not intended for persons who are not legally permitted to use the relevant service.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for purposes that are prohibited by applicable law.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to BlitzGo improperly, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. Your Privacy Requests

Subject to applicable law and reasonable verification requirements, you may contact BlitzGo to request information concerning your personal data.

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may request:

  • Information about personal data we hold about you;

  • Correction of inaccurate information;

  • Updating of account information;

  • Deletion of information where we are not legally required to retain it;

  • Withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent;

  • Information about certain uses or disclosures of your information;

  • Assistance concerning privacy-related complaints.

Some requests may not be possible where retaining or processing the information is legally required, necessary for a transaction, necessary for fraud prevention, necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or otherwise permitted by applicable law.

We may request reasonable information to verify that the person making a privacy request is the relevant account holder.

13. Third-Party Services

BlitzGo may integrate with third-party services such as payment processors, maps, analytics providers, communications providers, cloud services and other technology providers.

Those providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

BlitzGo is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third parties outside BlitzGo's control.

14. International Data Processing

Some BlitzGo technology providers may process or store information outside Iraq.

Where this occurs, BlitzGo will take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to protect the information and use reputable service providers.

Where applicable law requires particular safeguards for international transfers or processing, BlitzGo will seek to comply with those requirements.

15. Business Transfers

If BlitzGo is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets or similar transaction, relevant information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

16. Legal Requests

BlitzGo may preserve or disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, court orders, lawful requests from competent authorities, investigations, or legal proceedings.

BlitzGo will not voluntarily disclose personal information merely because a person requests it when there is no legitimate basis for doing so.

17. Privacy in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq

BlitzGo recognizes that privacy and electronic communications are protected under applicable laws and rules in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

BlitzGo will handle user information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in the territory where the Service is provided.

18. Privacy in Other Iraqi Locations

As BlitzGo expands outside the Kurdistan Region, the Service may become subject to additional Iraqi national, governorate-level or sector-specific requirements.

BlitzGo may update its policies and operational procedures when necessary to comply with applicable requirements in the relevant location.

19. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

The latest version will be published through the BlitzGo Platform with an updated "Last Updated" date.

If changes materially affect how we use personal information, we will provide reasonable notice where required by applicable law.

When contacting us about a privacy request, please provide enough information for us to identify your account and understand your request.

Important: This Privacy Policy should be reviewed by an Iraqi/Kurdistan-qualified lawyer before publication, particularly to confirm BlitzGo's actual data flows, hosting locations, payment providers, analytics/advertising SDKs, driver information, retention periods and applicable licensing requirements.

دکارێت BlitzGo پەیامێن پەیوەندیدار ب خزمەتێ بۆ تە بنێریت، وەک:

ئێمە بە ئەنقەست زانیاریێن منداڵان نابەینە کۆم، ئەگەر ئەو کارە بەپێی یاسا نەڕێپێدراو بیت.

١٤. زانیاری و یاسایێن هەرێما کوردستانێ

BlitzGo گرنگی ددەتە پاراستنا نهێنیێ و پەیوەندیێن ئەلیکترۆنی.

یاسایا ژمارە ٦ یا ساڵا ٢٠٠٨ یا هەرێما کوردستانێ پەیوەندیێن تەلەفۆنی، پۆستی و ئەلیکترۆنی وەک شتێن تایبەت دزانیت و دژ بە بڵاوکرنا هەندێ زانیاریێن تایبەتی و خێزانی دەستەواژەی یاسایی دانایە.

ئەگەر دادگا، دەزگەهەکا دەسەڵاتدار یان دەزگەهەکا یاسایی بەپێی یاسا داخوازی زانیاری بکەت، BlitzGo دکارێت ئەو زانیاریێن کو بەپێی یاسا پێدڤیە پێشکێش بکەت.

BlitzGo زانیاریێن بەکارهێنەر بێ مەبەست و بێ بنەمایەکا یاسایی بۆ کەسێن دی نادات.

١٦. ماوەیا هەڵگرتنا زانیاریێن

BlitzGo زانیاریێن دپارێزیت بۆ ئەو ماوەیە کو بۆ خزمەتگوزاری، سەلامەتی، پارەدان، شکایت، فێڵ، حسابداری، یان پێدڤیێن یاسایی پێدڤیە.

کاتێک زانیاریەک نەما پێدڤی بیت، دکارێت بهێتە ژێبرن، anonymize کرن یان ب شێوەیەکا پارێزراو بهێتە هەڵوەشاندن، بەپێی یاسا و پێدڤیێن کارگێڕی.
